IN SUPPORT OF THE SAULT AREA HOSPITAL FOUNDATION


RACE INFORMATION

This is a NON-COMPETITIVE event in which skiers are encouraged to collect pledges in support of the Sault Area Hospital Foundation. It is open to Individuals and two or three person Teams skiing either Classic, Skate style, Snowshoeing and Fat Biking. Together we challenge ourselves to collectively reach over 1500kms travelled!

REGISTRATION AND PACKET PICK-UP INFORMATION

Registration and pledge forms are NOT required to participate in this event. Skiers, Snowshoers and Raisers can register and collect donations completely online through this site. It's the easiest method! However, paper registration packages are available at local Scotiabank branches, Hiawatha Highlands and the Sault Area Hospital Foundation or online at www.sahfoundation.com/ski or at the link below.

Completed registration packages and pledge sheets may be dropped off at the Sault Area Hospital Foundation office, 750 Great Northern Road, Sault Ste. Marie, ON prior to February 23rd, 2017 or they may be brought to the check in desk at Hiawatha Highlands Kinsmen Centre starting at 0800 (8am) on the day of the event, February 26, 2017.

FUNDRAISING GOALS

All skiers and snowshoers must reach the specified goals to participate. If the goal is not reached, a participant may donate to themselves to reach their goal.

INDIVIDUAL minimum $50.00 raised

Help us reach our goal to have Skiers, Snowshoers and Bikers collectively reach 1500 KMs together!

COURSE DESCRIPTION

Skiers will be challenged by the Pinder System (10 km) as well as the hills of Crystal (11.5 km) and Red Pine (12 km) trail systems. Snowshoers will be able to take on the snowshoe trails on the Pinder System (4km) and Crystal System (3km).

Fat Biking is only available on the Red Pine and Crystal Trails.

FACILITIES

Check in, registration, and washrooms are located at the Hiawatha Highlands Kinsmen Centre, 780 Landslide Rd. Post skiing refreshments and Pancake Breakfast will be held at the Algoma's Water Tower Inn from Noon - 2pm.
